We are highlighting the works of Tongson Chen this month. An OCADU student in his final year, Chen is a highly skilled painter,
constantly expressing himself through his intrict detail in his works. The play with color, lighting, realism and over all aesthetically pleasing nature of his works are the reason we have chosen Chen as Gallery C.C.'s featured member.
Find Tong at his
blog and soon at our gallery.
For the past year, we have been making opportunities for local emerging artists to get exposure to the general public.
Through exhibits, events, showings and selling artwork, we have been growing our means to ensure artists can make a living on their passion.
We all create. It's the interesting creatures that decide to stop doing
everything else to only create who are special.
We are trying to make it possible for any 'creature' to create and make a living off of it. Gallery C.C. is the offspring of such an act, housing those special creatures an output to the general public, who are as well passionate about art.
Students Rejoice!
We are in talks with student unions all over Canada in the hopes to have a network established between students, freelance creatives and established creatives in a variety of fields. Already, we have connected with over 5000 creative professionals, ranging in painting, sculpting, illustration, graffiti and even knitting!
It isn't just what you know, and it isn't just who you know. It's actually who you know, who knows you, and what you do for a living.
-Robert Burg
We plan on connecting over 30,000 creative professionals to students and emerging artists by the end of April in the hopes of sharing life stories, tips & tutorials, clients and new ideas. This will allow us to manage the nations and one day the largest international creative agency ever! With so many creatures under one roof, the possibilities are endless for the kind of jobs and opportunites availae.
Make a living doing what you love. Become a Creature. Constantly create.
